After a tiring day of hiking along Hadrian’s Wall, returning to such a quiet and comfortable spot was a real treat. The accommodations were stylishly furnished and incredibly cozy, perfect for refueling after our long trek. I particularly appreciated the variety of allergy-friendly food options that were available. The breakfast spread was excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed the fresh tomatoes and Spanish omelette. Hadrian's Barn promised a delightful stay, but alas! The absence of minibar was tragic, though on the bright side, my liver was grateful. I was utterly astonished that I didn’t receive a complimentary upgrade after my long journey. Let’s just say, I almost wrote a good review, but clearly, this place doesn't cater to elite guests like myself.

Couples seeking peace

You know what? The food was excellent. The owner made us a lasagne with sides after a long day of hiking and it hit the spot perfectly.

It wasn’t exactly a bargain but, you get what you pay for.

Stunning property with cozy beds and plenty of books. Our little one enjoyed Netflix, and the scenic walks nearby were perfect for families. The selection of breakfast items was delightful, adding to our enjoyable morning.

In my wife's opinion, a children’s play area would be great.

hadrian's barn is a fantastic spot just off a little footpath nestled amongst the woods. the accommodation is tastefully furnished and I loved the allergy-friendly snacks provided. the evening meal I ordered was ample and delicious, making it perfect for refueling after a long day.
